High surface area and small volume
-Large number of them can interact with substances, more than large particles.

- Catalyst (Big surface area)
- Sunscreen (Small particles that don’t leave marks)
- Nanotubes (Conduct electricity)
- Lubricant
- Tennis rackets (Strengthen without adding weight)

- Haven’t been properly tested (Effect on the body)
- Some nano particles take longer to break down in body (Worried about build up in cells)
