Multiply number being increased by 1.02.
So £20 x 1.02 = £20.40.

How would you find a percentage decrease of a number, e.g. 15% decrease on £50?
A
Subtract 15 from 100 = 85, so multiply the number by 0.85.
£50 x 0.85 = £42.50.
