- Mencia
- Similar to Cabernet Franc in style
- Light, pale colour, fresh berry fruit and potential herbaceous aromas, hi acidity and characteristic minerality. Distinct blackberry flavours in old vines
- Well-drained soils of slate and granite best for Mencia

White
- Godello
Aromatic white grape
Others: Dona blanca, Palomino

All reds must contain min 75% Mencia. Closer in style to Galicia.
