Warrior with a weakness. He was dipped into an enchanted pond and made invincible in battle. When he was dipped he was held by his heal so it did not get anointed. He was hit in the heel during battle and bled to death.

He loved and held Odysseus captive on her island causing him to forget about the passing of time. He did not forget about his wide Penelope.

Advisor to Odysseus upon his return to Ithaca. He devised a plan to recapture his home from his wife’ s suitors.
