-> one scene may be Aeneas offering sacrifice with Arapacis and his son

-> OR Numa (second king of Rome, who built temple of Janus), he is peaceful - scenes showing gods

- images of floral patterns -> everything fluorishes under Augustus

-> reminded Romans of who they were and where they came from
