God is essentially a mystery . God is so beyond us, so great, so omnipotent（无所不能的） , so loving, so prefect - human mind can never grasp his infinity（无限的，无限量大的）
Why the new Testament uses the word “mystery” to refer god’s saving plan for human history.
God’s loving providence （远见） guides this plan, the mystery of our salvation and redemption（救赎）, as he gradually reveals himself over time.
There is an interesting and intimate connection between these two understanding of my mystery.
The god who is a mystery is the same god who has chosen to reveal himself in human history. Christian believe that God revealed himself fully in the person of Jesus Christ。
everything about Jesus
his actions, miracles,and teaching, as well as his passion , Death , and Resurrection（复兴）
one of the great values of studying the Gospel
Which is to meditate（沉思） on how Jesus’ whole life, and especially his sacrifice on the cross, shows God’s redeeming (救赎） work in our midst（在我们当中）
Why Jesus is our model
His life teaches us virtues（美德） like humility（谦逊） ; his voluntary poverty shows us how to accept setbacks（挫折） that come our way ; his way of praying instructs us on how to pray.
