1) Enteroviruses (coxsackieviruses), adenoviruses, EBV, hepatitis, CMV, HSV, mumps, rubella
2) Staphylococcus, streptococcus, diphtheria, meningococcus, mycoplasma
3) Toxoplasma, cocaine, lithium, drugs i.e. cyclophosphamide, phenytoin, and immunological causes i.e. SLE, sarcoidosis
