A

It is most frequently seen in CMML (80% or so of cases ) and acute monoblastic/ monocytic leukaemias (up to 50% of cases). It is also found in other AML subtypes as well as in cases of MDS, T ALL, mature T- and NK-cell neoplasms, myeloma and blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm.
