If they give X,Y,Z with Y&Z being negative state but X being a positive state, you can focus the clients attention to X

• When at a core state or something which is very resourceful do a feeling to metaphor
• Use When X, what happens to Y,Z. With Y,Z being unresourceful states and then mature those changes using what difference does it make
