2 separate sets (8) of sixth formers- not within psychology
Given either no music and a visual word list (15) or no music and a visual word list (same words)
Simple words were chosen by a generator to allow equal chance and were written on large sheet of paper in big handwriting to ensure quality opportunity
Taken place in the common room and were given a minute to remember the words then asked to recall but not in order
Song played was ‘as it was’
