- Guideline to live by and understand their faith
- helps non-believers to convert to or understand Islam
- Show to a Muslims that Allah is the most important as all beliefs are related to him.

Those who live a good, sinless life will go to al’jannah. Muslims believe that Allah see’s everything and therefore should follow the teachings of the qur’an
