Chord
Two or more notes played at the same time.

A series of chords played in a particular order.
Field holler
A type of vocal music sung by enslaved African workers to accompany their work, to communicate or to vent feelings.

To play something without preparation; made up on the spot.

What is a walking bass?
A walking bass line simply ‘walks’ through the appropriate scale of each chord, one note per beat.
