A
An interval is the distance between two pitches.

A
The combination of intervals in a melody gives it different shapes

What is Arpeggios
A
Arpeggios are rising and falling melodies that use the notes of a chord.

What are Cadences?
A
There are 4 types of cadences (2 sound final, 2 don’t!): - Perfect & Plagal (both sound final/finished); - Imperfect & interrupted (both sound like the music needs to continue, so ‘non-final’)
