What is Note Grouping?
Smaller note values in music are frequently “grouped” into beats that match the time signature.

A treble clef is a symbol that you use when writing music to show that the notes on the staff are above middle C. Treble notes are located to the right of middle C on the keyboard.

Ternary – a piece of music with three sections, the third section is a return to the first.
Rondo – a piece of music with a return to the first section with a different section in between.

Musical texture is the density of and interaction between a work’s different voices.

Sections of the Orchestra
There are four main sections in the orchestra; the strings, the woodwinds, the brass, and the percussion. In a full orchestra, there are a total of 45 instruments used.
Tuned percussion
Tuned percussion is those which have been pitched to particular notes, and is usually set out like a piano keyboard.
Untuned percussion
Untuned percussion instruments mostly only have one pitch or sound, e.g. bongo drums, cymbals, etc.

The lyrics of a 12-bar blues song often follow what’s known as an AAB pattern. “A” refers to the first and second four-bar verses, and “B” is the third four-bar verse.

“Unity” refers to anything that is the same. In music and musical form, contrast is the difference between parts or different instrument sounds.
