Q

Resonace

A

By creating vibrations that constructively interfere with the natural frequencies of the material, we can create a sound that can be heard

This is called resonance - a wave that vibrates very close to the natural frequencies of another material which interferes constructively with the natural frequencies of the material

This is how musical instruments work

A vibration is applied to the material of the instrument which resonates at a specific frequency to create an audible sound
