Principle of nature that one pitch producing vibrations causes other vibrations related by integers

-Sound source vibrates
-Causes air molecules to vibrate
-Vibrating air molecules reach ear
-Basilar membrane in ear vibrates
-Bacilar membrane send auditory cortex to brain
-Auditory cortex contains a map of the tones which fire sympathetically to the basilar membrane creating pitch
