What is a joint?
A junction between two or more separate bones
What are the two types of skeleton?
Appendicular - Pelvic region, Upper and lower limbs (i.e. the arms, shoulders and legs)
Axial skeleton - Cranium, Ribcage and the vertebra (i.e. where the CNS is)
What are the 5 functions of the skeleton?
Support, Protection, Movement, Mineral Storage Produces blood cells

Intramembranous form flat bones
Endochondral - long bones
