Avoid in pregnancy, w/ children, with hypersensitive, diseased or damaged skin - dermal sensitiser in some - EUGENOL
Do not use above 1.25% (6 drops in 25mls) - METHYL EUGENOL - possible carcinogen

MAPs, OA, RA - antirheumatic, analgesic
Catarrh & colds - anticatarrhal, mucolytic
Dysmenorrhoea - analgesic, antispasmodic, emmenagogue

(Poor concentration/woolly head - neurotonic)

Do not use above 2.25% (11d in 25mls) - SAFROLE & METHYL EUGENOL - potential carcinogens
Avoid in pregnancy - MYRISTICIN - uterine tonic & pot. hallucinogen - can cross placenta
Advisable to avoid w/ MAOIs antidepressants e.g. Manerix - no cheese & marmite consumption

Depression - Antidepressant, Euphoric, nervine, tonic
Reynaud’s cold H&F - Rubefacient, circulatory
Stress-related digestive disturbances - Carminative, antispasmodic, tonic
