Via thoracolumber fascia from spinous processes T6-T12
Lumbar, sacral vertebrae and iliac crest
Lower ribs 3-4

Top of humerus
What are the actions of the latissimus dorsi ?
Adducts and extends the arm
Assists in medial rotation of the arm
Depress the shoulder girdle

Lateral border of the the scapula
What is the insertion of the teres major ?
Humerus
What are the joint actions of the teres major ?
Medial rotation
