K: draws scapula forward and downward, draws rib cage superior

I: entire anterior surface of vertebral border of scapula
N: long thoracic nerve. roots c5-c7
K: rotates scapula laterally and upward, hold scapula against chest wall, abduction and raising arm in horizontal movements

O: costal cartilage of rib 1
I: groove of inferior surface of clavicle
N: nerve to subclavius. roots c5, c6
K: stabilize and depress pectoral girdle
