Tibialis Anterior
O: Lateral surface of tibia
I: Medial cuneiform and base of first metatarsal (after passing extensor retinacula)
I: Deep peroneal (fibular) nerve
A: Dorsiflexion and inversion of foot
Extensor Digitorum Longus
O: Lateral condyle of tibia, medial surface of fibula and interosseous membrane
I: 4 tendonds insert into second to fifth toes (middle and distal phalanges) (after passing extensor retinacula)
I: Deep peroneal (fibular) nerve
A: Extension of four toes and assists dorsiflexion
Extensor Hallucis Longus
O: Medial surface of fibular shaft
I: Base of distal phalanx of great toe
I: Deep peroneal (fibular) nerve
A: Extension of great toe and assists dorsiflexion
Peroneus (Fibularis) Tertius
O: Medial surface of fibula (below origin of EDL)
I: Base of the fifth metatarsal
I: Deep peroneal (fibular) nerve
A: Eversion and assists dorsiflexion
