elbow
Humerus, radius , ulna
Name the articulating bones in the
hip
Femur and Pelvis
What is a agonist muscle?
The muscle doing the work (contracting) and pulling on the bones to create the
movement.
What is an example of a agonist muscle?
For e.g. when you perform a bicep curl the biceps will be the agonist as it contracts to produce the movement
What is an example of a antagonist muscle?
While the triceps will be the antagonist as it relaxes to allow the movement to occur.
What is antagonist muscle?
In an antagonistic muscle pair as one muscle contracts the other muscle relaxes or lengthens.
