Pectoralis major

A

Clavicular head origin: anterior surface medial half of the clavicle
Sternal head origin: Anterior surface of sternum, 1st 7 costal cartilages, sternal end of 6th rib, external oblique aponeurosis
Insertion: lateral lip inter tubercular groove (sulcus) of humerus

Innervation: medial and lateral pectoral N
BS: thoracoacromial artery - pectoral branch
Action: ADD and medial rotation of arm at GHJ
CH: flexion of ext arm
SH: extension of flex arm

A

Origin: anterior surface of the 3rd to 5th ribs
Insertion: Superior surface of coracoid
process

Innervation: medial pectoral N
