A: xiphoid process, lower six costal cartilages, L1-L3 vertebrae, converges into central tendon
A: draws central tendon down and forward during inspiration

B: musculophrenic, superior and inferior phrenic arteries
Quadratus Lumbroum
A: Inferior border of 12th rib, lumber transverse processes, illiolumbar ligament, iliac crest
A: depresses and stabilized rib 12 (during inspiration), some lateral bending of trunk
N: Anterior rami of T12, L1 to L4
B: iliolumbar artery
Psoas Major
A: Lateral surface of bodies T12-L5, vertebrae, transverse processes of lumbar vertebrae, intervening intervertebral discs (between T12-L5). Lesser trochanter of femur
A: flexion of hip at hip joint
N: Anterior rami L1 to L3
B: lumbar branches of iliolumbar artery
Psoas Minor
A: lateral surface of bodies T12 to L1 vertebrae, and intervening intervertebral discs, pectineal line of pubis and illopubic eminence
A: weak flexion if lumar vertebral column
N: Anterior rami of L1
B: lumbar branch of iliolumbar A
Iliacus
A: superior 2/3 of iliac fossa, anterior sacro-iliac ligaments, ala of sacrum, lesser trochanter of femur
A: flexion of thigh at hip joint
N: femoral N. (L2 to L4)
A: iliac branch of iliolumbar A
