What is somatoform autonomic disorder?

A

symptoms of a system/organ under AUTONOMIC innervation

usually Sx of 2 types:

  • objective signs of autonomic arousal e.g. palpitations, tremor, sweating
  • subjective non-specific complaints e.g. fleeting aches and pains, bloating
