what is done to manage symptoms?

A

-spasticity: baclofen, diazepam, tizanidine and dantrolene
-Relapse: methylprednisolone
-Oscillopsia (objects appear to vibrate): gabapentin
-Mood alteration: amitriptyline
-Fatigue: amantadine or fampridine

A

-increase doses slowly, to avoid major side effects such as sedation and hyptonia
