A

A rumour that police had indirectly caused a death of a youth spread across the community/ this caused tension between the metropolitan police and protesters in Lambeth (south London)/ the 1981 recession economic unrest- paticuarly to the African- Caribbean commnites/ suspected house fire caused with racially motivated arson/

What did the 1975 race relations act do?

A

made discrimination unlawful in employment, training, education, and the provision of goods and services. It extended discrimination to include victimisation, and replaced the R.R.B. and the C.R.E. with the Commission for Racial Equality, a stronger body with more powers to prosecute.
