What is the trimodal distribution of death?

A

Immediate (within first hour): lacerations to brain, brainstorm, spinal cord, aorta or heart.

Early deaths (2-3 hours): TBI, hemopnueumothorax, pelvic fractures, long bone fractures or abdo injuries.

Late deaths (days to weeks): Sepsis, MOI
