What did he do daily?
He prayed 5 times a day to Allah,this shows that prayer played a key role in his life and on Fridays he attended his local mosque for communal prayer
Why did Muhammad do before every boxing match?
He said prayers of petition to Allah for a win before a match
What did Muhammad have various of?
He had various aids to prayer to help him develop his own unique relationship with Allah, he had a prayer mat,prayer beads and Qur’an (Muslims sacred text)
What was really important in Muhammad’s life?
Salat (prayer) however he also preformed Du’kah (informal prayer- praying outside the 5 set times for a special intention
What did he do to show how important prayer was in his life?
He preformed special rituals to show the importance of prayer in his life e.g. removal of shoes, Rak’ah movements, wudu and facing towards the ka’ba in Mecca while praying
What was done at his funeral?
At his funeral prayers were said and he was buried facing Mecca. An interfaith service (people/leaders from faiths) was held in his memory and to celebrate his life
