Infrapatellar bursitis
What is meant by Osgood-Schlatter’s disease?
Chronic inflammation at patellar ligament insertion on to tibial tuberosity
Pain, tenderness and swelling over the tibial tuberosity
What are the common features of meniscal tear?
Knee locking and giving way
Swelling of the knee which gradually develops over hours following the injury
What are the features of chondromalacia patellae?
Anterior knee pain typically on walking up and down stairs

Sharp pain on lateral aspect of the knee
