Why didn’t God destroy Lucifer when he sinned
If God destroyed Lucifer then God would have killed the person but not the problem. The idea that Lucifer had would still be in the other angels minds and they would have doubts

We have the freedom to decide for ourselves what to do and our ways often lead to sin which leads to suffering

All sin costs and someone has to pay that cost- forgiveness absorbs the cost

The basis of the universe is love and in order for God to put Himself in our place He had to do it out of love
