EDH (Epidural haemorrhage)
Intracranial pressure (non-depressive fracture)
> Deviation of the midline
> Compression of subcortical structures
> Compression of the brainstem
> LOC
Depending on the size of the lesion and time until rescue (arterial bleeding), leading to minor neurological symptoms to death

Trauma and the rupture of an aneurysm are the most common etiologies
(Most common in newborns and elderly or people with congenital/drug- induced disorders affecting the thickness/elasticity of arterial or venous walls. )
SDH (Subdural haemorrhage)
- Undergoing anticoagulatory therapy
- Genetic diseases, where the integrity of blood vessels is compromised
- Elderly falls
- As an adverse effect of certain drugs and supplements
