How do i know that a sagittal view is T1 weighted?
A
T1 - Coffee black and egg white
Spinal fluid is dark
spinal fluid is darker than the neuro-tissue
Neuro-tissue is darker than bone.

How does hemosiderin show off on a T2 weighted w/o gadolinium ?
A
It will show hypointensities “black holes”.

how is a syrinx seen on a T2 weighted image ? (no gadolinium)
A
It will be hyperintense.

How do I know a spine sag is T2 weighted?
A
SCF is more bright than CNS that is more or equally bright as bone.
