Effects of Moxa?
Warm all channels and collaterals
Prevents yang from collapsing and recovers yang

Expels external pathogenic evils from channels like cold and damp
Supplements middle jiaos, st36, ren6,12
Lifts falls Qi and yang du 20
Regulates Chong Mai and conception vessel
Repositions fetus at UB 67
Quantity and duration?
3-8 per point /cones
5-15 minutes per site if using Moxa stick
Consider age, constitution, site and pathological conditions ( ACSP)
Contraindications of Moxa
Extreme Caution for patients with reduced neurological sensitivity
Abdominal and lumbosacral area in pregnant women
Emaciated patients with thin fragile skin
Contraindicated around heart, neck, eyes, major blood vessels
No direct Moxa on face, orifices or mucous membranes
