throw a piece of ignited paper or cottonball into the cup, rapidly place the mouth of cup over skin. Best for lateral side of body

A

clamp cottonball soaked with 95% alcohol with forceps, ignite, put in cup. Take it out and place cup on skin
- to remove hold cup with one hand and press skin down to let air out
