Foot turns out
Overactive: soleus and lateral gastrocnemius, biceps femoris (short head)
Underactive: medial gastrocnemius, medial hamstring complex, ant and post tibialis, glutes
Knees move in (valgus)
Overactive: adductor complex, biceps femoris (short head), tfl, vastus lateralis
Underactive: glutes, vastus medialis.
Forward lean
Overactive: soleus and gastrocnemius, HFC, abd complex
Underactive: gluteus max, ant tibialis, erector spinae
Low back arches
Overactive: HFC, lat dorsi, erector spinae, soleus and gastro.
Underactive: transverse abdominis, internal oblique, glutes, hasmtrings
Forward falling arms
Overactive: pec major and minor, teres major, lat dorsi
Underactive: rhomboids, lower traps, rotator cuff (teres minor, infraspinatus)
Foot pronates or flattens
Overactive: soleus and grastro, peroneals, biceps femoris (short head), adductors, HFC, it band
Underactive: ant & post tibialis, glutes
Head moves forward
Overactive: upper traps, levator scapulae, sternocleidomastoid
Underactive: deep cervical flexors
Elevated shoulders
Overactive: Sternocleidomastoid, upper traps, levator scapulae
Underactive: mid/lower traps
