What do the sensations of alcohol have when we drink wine?
A
Irritation. May be experienced in the eyes, mouth nose or throat.

What are some sensations that contribute to mouthfeel?
A
- Alcohol
- Temperature
- Spiciness (chilly)
- Coolness (menthol coolness)
- Astringency (bitterness and mouthfeel from tannins)
- Carbonation (small bubbles = creamy, large bubbles = aggressive)
- Mouthcoating (how the wine ‘sticks’ inside the mouth)
- Body or viscosity (how thick the wine is)
