A

Skeletal muscle covered with mucosa.
Used in speech, taste, movement, shaping and swallowing.

A

They secrete slaiva.
Salivary amylase starts the digestion of carbohydrates.
Lysozymes destroy bacteria in food.
Mucis softens and lubricates food.

A

Paratoid - under the ears
Submandibular - base of the tongue and under the jaw.
Sublingual - under the tongue in the floor of the mouth
