MOTION (Part of lll) Flashcards
What are the Newtons’ laws of Motion
Law of Inertia, Law of Acceleration, Law of Action & Reaction
When no net or resultant force acts upon it, a body at rest remains at rest and a body in motion continues to move in the same direction in a straight line with constant speed.
Law of Inertia
When an Unbalanced for acts upon an object, it accelerated that body in the direction of the force. The acceleration produced is directly proportional to the force and inversely proportional to the mass of the object.
Law of Acceleration
Whenever one object exerts a force on a second object, the second exerts an equal but opposite force on the first.
Law of Action & Reaction
Formula of Force
Force (N) = mass (kg) × acceleration (m/s²)
[F = mass x acceleration]
