Human-Environment Interaction?
How people interact with their environment, example: wearing coat in cold weather, using umbrella when it’s raining.
Location?
Relative Location: Describing where a place is, ex: “It’s next to a shell gas station,”
Absolute Location: Exactly where a place is, ex: coordinates.
Regions?
Characteristics compared to other locations.
Place?
Study physical features.

How did Paleolithic people survive?
We’re hunters and gatherers
What was the Neolithic revolution and why was it important?
Farming occurred, people started domesticating animals.
List the eight features of early civilization.
Cities
Well organized central government, complex religions, job specialization, social classes, arts and architecture, public works, and writing.
Three examples of cultural diffusion in today’s world.
- Clothing trends that start in some place sands as those people move to new places the trends move as well.
- Music is another example; people from different cultures start releasing albums in many languages and genres that originate from certain places and are spread to others.
- Food as well. For example, sushi is originated from Japan, and the Japanese came here and settled; people have Americanized their dishes and Japanese sushi bars are almost everywhere!
What kind of evidence to historians use to study the past?
Historians use artifacts that have made it through out the years, either being preserved with scientists, or dug up in the past years.
How did job specialization lead to the emergence of social classes?
The different jobs gave different amounts of pay and authority to people, therefore giving them their place in society.
