Where does the word euthanisa come from?
From the Greek
Eu=’Good’
Thanatos=’Death”
define active Euthansia
Actively doing something to help a person die. E.g. giving them a pill that can kill them.
Define passive Euthanisa
Not directly taking the persons life. Just allowing them to die. E.g. unplugging or turning off the life support machine.
Define Voluntary Euthania
Helping someone die who has expressed a wish to end thier life.
Non-voluntary Euthanisa
Helping someone die who is unable to express their wishes.
define Capital Punishment
punishing someone by killing them
define corporal punishment
punishing someone by physically hurting them
good about capital punishment and bad
Good: if it is a mass murder, people should be punished so that they are unable to walk these streets.
Bad: trial cost 10x more, people have been executed and have been later found out not guilty and killing people is not the solution.
Define abortion
the deliberate ending of pregnancy

is a term used to indicate opposition to abortion, and support for foetal rights.

is a term used to indicate support of the belief that women should have access to abortions.
