- Relative morality- answers are not always the same. They depend on the situation
- Absolute morality- answers are always the same. NO change regardless of the situation
- Conscience- an inner voice which keeps a person on the right track and helps us make moral decisions
- Virtues- a quality considered morally good or desirable in a person

How do people make moral decisions?

- Past experiences; allow us to learn
- The law; it offers us strict guidance
- Religious leaders or community; to give guidance
- Religious teachings/prayer; to ask God
- Reasoning and logic

Natural Law - Christian Ethics

- Absolute morality
- based on the Catholic doctrine
- Follows primary precepts to result in the secondary precepts

- A form of relative morality, people are guided by the idea well being is the most important thing
- It is based on AGAPE
- It main principle - “the most loving thing is the most moral thing.”
