Monohybrid Crosses Flashcards
1
Q
What are Monohybrid Crosses?
A
A breeding experiment which flows the inheritance of only one characteristic.
2
Q
What is Observed and Predicted?
A
Monohybrid crosses have been shown to always produce a 3:1 phenotypic at F2 generation.
However, there is a difference between what is predicted and observed.
This is because fertilisation is a random process which involves an element of chance.
