What is Azure Advisor and what does it do?
A
- gives recommendations for your subscription
- analyzing your usage of Azure and based on that recommendations
- categories: cost, security, reliability, operational excellence, performance
- cost free advice

A
- a dashboard inside of Azure
- talks about Azure-wide services as a whole, not your services
- information about ongoing service issues
- allows to set up an alert, for instance if certain regions are affected

What is Azure Monitor and what does it do?

- centralized dashboard of all the logging and analytics across your account
- has a section for application insights
- has several ways of viewing data

What are Application Insights?
A
- Application Performance Management service
- automatically monitors your application
- detects performance anomalies and helps to diagnose issues
- can be set-up when creating a web app for instance

What does the logs view in Azure Monitor do?
A
- allows to run queries against certain resources (like storage accounts)
- to view logs
- contains pre-built queries
- queries are written Kusto / KQL, not SQL
