Sensors
A
Input device that records data from physical environment

Actuators
A
Output device that outputs to physical environment, usually in low level form
e.g. LED (with lights on or off) is low level, while monitor also output lights but with higher level information
incl. Motor (motion), LED (light), Heat, Buzzer (Sound) etc.

Monitoring system
A
Microprocessor read, record data from sensor
May report if abnormality happens

Control System
A
Similar to monitoring, but microprocessor will also utilize Actuators to “alter” the monitored environment
e.g. Air conditioner

Motion Sensor
A
Detects presence of motion, usually use in CCTV
May use Infrared or microwave to detect

Pressure sensor
A
Detects pressure of liquid or gas
