What is momentum
A
Momentum is how difficult it is to stop an object - unstoppability
A moving object has momentum
It is a property of moving objects (p)

What is the formula for momentum
A
Momentum p = mass kg x velocity m/s
P= m x v
Kg m/s = kg x m/s
So the greater the mass and the greater the velocity of an object the more momentum has

Momentum is a vector quantity- what does this mean?
A
It has both a size(magnitude) and direction
Eg velocity is a vector but speed is not

What is the law of conservation of momentum
A
Provided no external forces act eg friction then
The momentum is the same before and after a collision or explosion
Initial momentum = final momentum
