If doing moments to find a force and you just get components of it, how to find the magnitude?
A
Don’t be STUIPID, magnitude of F = F, don’t have to do long component sqaure
Use your moments calculation and rearrange for F!

Remember don’t always take the perpendicular to ground and vertical to ground moment what should you do

ALWAYS TRY TAKE MOMENTS GOING INTO THE PIVOT / PERPNDICULAR SO EASY
Always look for this first, otherwise will over complicate

When taking momente and tension arises due to a weight, what do you do?
A
Only take ONE OF THEM, either the weight ir the tension but not both, bevause they already cancel each other out
Remember du Preez, can think of it as one body and IGNORE THE TENSION all together no problem
