In this flashback scene, In Act 2, Billy and Robert are discussing their future when Robert realises the Germans are at the cottage. Soon after Lucia and her family are shot dead as the soldiers have found Billy’s coat. The scene then transitions back into present time where Billy is telling Sam of this tragic event.

volume - is louder shows extent of Billy’s guilt and sadness

Body language - when saying the line “It was my Jacket!” Dudley Sutton stands with straight posture and his arms to the side of him which contrasts from being covered by Actor Sam Donavan conveys Billy’s can signify vulnerability and conviction.
