An explanation of the context of study which involves the current data or status of the problem
Background of the study
Elaborate the origin of the research problem which led to conduct of the study
Background of the study / Introduction
Covers the general statements of the problem as well as the specific research questions to be answered in the study
Statement of the problem
Serves as an overview of the research topic under investigation
Background of the study / Introduction
Two types of hypothesis
Null hypothesis
Alternative hypothesis
A preconvinced idea, assumed to be true and is tested for its truth or falsity
Hypothesis
Vital to all research endeavor, whether qualitative or quantitative, explanatory or exploratory
Research hypothesis
State the concrete terms that a researcher expects to happen in the study
Hypothesis
Indicates that there is no significant differences or relationship between specified population or variables
Null hypothesis
States that there is a significant differences or relationship between specified population or variables
Alternative hypothesis
Pinpoint the benefits certain groups of people will gain from the finding of the study
Significance of the study
Set borders and limitations of the problem and narrow down the scope of the inquiry
Scope and delimitation of the study
The coverages of the study
Scope and delimitation of the study
Give the concept to be covered in the study as well as its boundaries in terms of the respondents /participants, sampling techniques locale and the research methods to be used
Scope and delimitation of the study
An outline or a blueprint that you can follow in doing your research
Conceptual framework
