-The war was over but the news didn’t get there quick enough and the Federalist party was against the war- they were going to meet to try to end the war- people found this funny and ——Federalist party lost all of their power and influence

-The Native American groups power fell apart and didn’t work together anymore

A

-a feeling of loyalty to a nation. It is a belief that the interests of the nation as a whole are more important than regional interests or interests of other countries.

What was the Monroe Doctrine?

A

-James Monroe was worried about the newly freed nations and wanted to make sure they weren’t taken over because they are so close to the U.S.
1)The United States would not interfere in European affairs
2) The U.S. recognized and would not interfere with existing colonies in North and South America.
3) The Western Hemisphere was closed to future colonization
4)If European power tried to interfere with any nation it was seen as an act of hostility against the U.S.
